Why is a graduation album important?
-
Memory of Childhood
A graduation album will help preserve the moments when your child took their first steps in society, discovered talents, and made their first friends.
-
Emotional Value
Flipping through the pages, you will remember the bright events and the warm atmosphere that reigned in the group.
-
Individuality
The album can reflect the unique characteristics of each child, their hobbies, dreams, and achievements.
How to Create the Perfect Graduation Album?
To do this, you need to determine the budget, choose the format and type of binding, and prepare the materials.
1. Determine the Budget
The budget depends on who will be responsible for designing the album.
1.1. Professional Photographer and Professional Designer
The best option for those who want high-quality photos and an original design. The cost of an album with a photoshoot usually ranges from €40 to €60 per copy.
1.2. Professional Designer
Modern phones and gadgets allow you to take high-quality photos that can be used for album design. You can provide all available photos to a designer at the printing house, who will layout the photo book for you. This option is slightly cheaper but requires more time. In this case, the cost of the photo album includes an additional fee for preparation, usually around €100–€150 per batch.
1.3. Customer in online editor
With this option, you can independently design the photo album in our online editor using convenient ready-made templates. This economical and creative approach allows you to design and order a photo book at a price of €13–€19 per copy for a batch of 25 or more.

1.4. Photo Folder Album with Professional Designer
This budget-friendly option is well-suited for small kindergarten groups with a minimal number of photos. There is no online template for the photo folder album; its layout is handled by a designer based on the provided photos. Typically, the preparation of such an album costs €60–€70 per batch. The price per copy is around €8.
2. Choose Format and Binding
Type The album format can be any; here are the most popular ones.
2.1. Classic Photo Book with Glued Binding
- A modern and stylish option.
- Possibility of individual design.
- The price depends on the number of pages and print run.
The most budget-friendly option is a 20 x 15 cm photo book. Other popular formats: 21 x 21 cm and 20 x 27 cm in vertical or horizontal layout.
NB! When creating a book in the online editor, set the correct size immediately to avoid unnecessary work.

2.2. Lay-Flat Photo Book (Butterfly Book)
Most photo books are made with glued binding — a more economical technology. Lay-flat photo books belong to the premium segment of photo albums. Their pages are denser, and the book opens 180 degrees, allowing a single photo to be used across an entire spread (i.e., two pages) without losing quality. This option can use photo paper with maximum color accuracy.
2.3. Photo Folder Album
- A budget-friendly option.
- Suitable for small groups.
- Price — around €8 per copy.
The most popular format is 20 x 27 cm, and when opened — 40 x 27 cm.
3. Prepare Materials
For the album creation process to go smoothly and successfully, it is essential to properly prepare the materials: children’s portraits, group photos, drawings, questionnaires, photos from events, celebrations, excursions, and funny children’s quotes. In short, everything worth remembering from this wonderful period.
- Assign responsible persons: one for collecting photos, another for designing, and someone from the kindergarten to collect interviews, children’s drawings, or interesting facts about the kids.
NB! Don’t forget to label photos (child’s name and surname, date of the event) to avoid confusion. If your images are digitized, include this data in the file name, and for printed photos, write it on the back.
When gathering materials, consider the album’s structure. It may include individual spreads for each child, featuring their portraits, drawings, questionnaire, quotes, etc., as well as general pages with group photos.
- If working with a designer, approve the layout at each stage.
- Before printing the entire batch, order a sample copy and check the accuracy of the information and color reproduction. If everything is correct, proceed with printing.
4. Calculate the Timeline
Spring is a busy season for printing houses, so plan your work early in the year to complete everything on time without rushing.
- Collecting materials and creating a layout may take several weeks.
- The printing time for graduation albums is usually 2–3 weeks.
- Expedited production is possible by prior arrangement.
We wish you success in this important and necessary endeavor!
